Yamada pneumatic driven "double" diaphragm pumps. These pumps can all be adapted to resist all existing chemicals. Driven by air, the pumps are intrinsically safe and to use in hazardous environments. These pumps are self-priming and the head is as much as pressure of compressed air available.

The pumps can also be applied as a stand-alone emergency pump because it needs no foundation and they are GENERAL APPLICABLE. The Yamada diaphragm Pump Program is the largest thinkable in comparison to the competitors. Pumpsize = liquid port sizes in BSP (or flange from 1.5” )

  • 1/4" - max. capacity 10 liters per min.
  • 3/8" - max. capacity 20 liters per min.
  • 1/2" - max. capacity 45 liters per min.
  • 3/4" - max. capacity 100 liters per min.
  • 1" - max. capacity 160 liters per min.
  • 1.5" - max. capacity 400 liters per min.
  • 2" - max. capacity 600 liters per min.
  • 3" - max. capacity 800 liters per min.

How to choose the right pump?
For choosing the right pump you can use the following basic rule: Choose a pump with a capacity of 1.5 to 2 x the desired capacity. So the pump will function in the middle of it's capacity-range. The advantage is an efficient air consumption and minimal load of the diaphragms.

Furthermore you will have to consider what kind of materials you require for the pump. Because the pumpchambers, valves, manifolds and diaphragms are the wetted parts of the pump. In the chemical resistance chart you can find the right materials with which you can compose your pump.

How to use the pump codes?

  • 40 - 1 1/2"
  • 50 - 2"
  • 80 - 3"
Valve type:
  • B - Ball
  • F - Flap

  • S - Santoprene (TPO)

Because there are so many pumps in the Yamada diaphragm pump program, there is for almost every application a diaphragm pump available. To fulfil your request, we need the following information:

  • Which liquid?
  • Desired capacity of the pump, l/h or l/m.
  • Desired working pressure (desired pressure at the end of the discharge line?).
  • The suction depth (h).
  • The discharge head (H).
